Learn to make bread
Learning to bake bread is simple and we are going to outline below how to bake a standard loaf in a bread maker.
Always add the yeast first normally about a teaspoon should do the job but varying it by a quarter of a teaspoon can be the difference between a light and fluffy loaf and a doughy heavy loaf.
Add 475g of strong white flour. It's really important to use strong flour also known as bread flour. You can get this nearly everywhere so there is no excuse to be using cheap flour and producing an inferior loaf.
Add a teaspoon and a half of sugar and salt to taste.
Pour in 320ml of luke warm water. A good test is to put your finger in the water if it feels particularly warm or cold then adjust.
Set the bread maker to bake a standard loaf, normal options and press the go button.
Once finished allow to cool for five minutes and then drop out and leave for another twenty to cool on a rack.
