Bread bin
Bread bins help preserve a loaf of bread. They keep the loaf away from direct sunlight and to some degree enclose it away from contaminates.
It is best not to wrap a freshly baked loaf in cellophane because it will sweat and become chewy.
A good bread bin will allow for air to circulate around the loaf keeping it good for as long as possible. This said because home baked bread contains no preservatives it will become dry after a couple of days.
